Davido celebrates wife’s 29th birthday
Davido, the Nigerian singer, has celebrated Chioma Adeleke, his wife, as she turns 29
In a post on Instagram, Davido described his wife as his “best friend and confidant”.
He also referred to Chioma as “the best I ever had”.
“Happy birthday to my best friend, my confidant, the best I ever had! Now till 4eva!!!” Davido wrote.
The singer further expressed his love in another post, saying he is grateful for her unwavering support and affection. He added that her strength and grace uplifts him daily.
“Thank you for always being my rock and helping me shut out all the noise with your love,” he wrote.
“Heres to more joy, laughter, and sweeeet music in our lives. I love you and It is till infinity!!! ❤️❤️ #ChiomaDay.”
It is understood that the couple celebrated the occasion in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The birthday celebration comes about the same time when a fight ensued between Davido and Wizkid on X after the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker mocked him and Don Jazzy, the Mavin Records head honcho.
Davido engaged Chioma in 2019.
But their union temporarily hit the rocks in 2021 amid allegations that the singer was in another relationship.
The couple lost Ifeanyi, their only child together, on October 30, 2022.
In March 2023, the ‘OBO’ singer confirmed that he and Chioma had officially gotten married.
“I travelled, I am married. A lot of different things but we are ready now to get back on the road,” he had said.
The lovebirds welcomed twins in the United States in October 2023.
