Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, senator representing Kogi central, has submitted her Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination forms ahead of the 2027 elections.

The lawmaker, accompanied by supporters and political associates, submitted her forms at the national secretariat of the PDP in Abuja on Monday.

Addressing her supporters after submitting the forms, Akpoti-Uduaghan thanked residents of Kogi central and PDP members for their continued support.

“I remain committed to the service of my people and the advancement of democratic values,” she said.

“This journey is not about personal ambition alone, but about sustaining purposeful representation, empowering our youths and women, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every community.”

The senator said her focus remained on strengthening infrastructure, education, healthcare delivery, and economic opportunities in the district.

“We have started a movement of hope, inclusion, and progress,” she said.

“By the grace of God and the support of our people, we shall continue to build a future where every citizen feels represented and valued.”

Akpoti-Uduaghan, 46, is seeking re-election to the senate on the platform of the PDP.

On April 27, she declared her re-election bid during a meeting of stakeholders of Kogi central’s PDP.

The lawmaker said her decision followed months of consultations and endorsements across the five LGAs in the senatorial district.
