Olakunle Churchill, the businessman, has sparked rumours of a split from Rosy Meurer, his celebrity wife.
There are rumours that the actress recently filed for a dissolution of their marriage, although details surrounding the issue still remains unclear.
While Meurer has yet to publicly address the reports, Churchill appeared to have reacted in a cryptic post via his Instagram story.
In the post, the businessman pointed out that he would always choose his children over “anyone or anything else”.
“As a father, if I am ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else, I’m picking my kids. Period,” he wrote.
The reports have however sparked reactions on social media with many users questioning the motives behind the post.
Checks by TheCable Lifestyle also show that Churchill has unfollowed Meurer’s main account on Instagram but still follows her backup account.
Meurer, on other hand, is still following Churchill on the platform.
The controversy comes months after the actress denied rumours of a crisis in their marriage. She had disclosed that she could take a bullet for her husband.
Their marriage has often come under public scrutiny due to Churchill’s highly publicised past relationship.
Churchill was formerly married to Tonto Dikeh in a union that ended controversially in 2017.
In 2021, Churchill announced Meurer, his former personal assistant, as his wife. The couple welcomed their first child in March 2021 and their second child in October 2022.
In 2023, Churchill also refuted claims of marital trouble.
Dikeh recently announced that she and Churchill have finally “buried the hatchet,” ending their decade-long public feud.
