The Founder of Zion Flames Prophetic and Intercessory Ministry, Apostle Momo Promise, has condemned the resurgence of xenophobic attacks in South Africa, calling for urgent action and greater unity across the African continent.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, the cleric urged the South African authorities to take decisive steps to bring perpetrators of the violence to justice.

He also appealed to Nigerians and other Africans residing abroad to remain calm and peaceful, despite the growing concerns over safety.

“We as Africans must come together and unite; we must see each other as one. This is why we are far behind,” he said.

Apostle Momo blamed the continent’s slow development on disunity, stressing that tribalism and xenophobia continue to undermine Africa’s economic and social progress.

He warned that if such divisions persist, Africa risks further setbacks on the global stage.

“I urge the South African government to take decisive action against the perpetrators of violence,” he added.

While condemning the attacks, the cleric maintained that the violence was being carried out by a small group of individuals and not representative of the general population.

“I have a lot of followers in South Africa; they are good people. But it is just a few bad eggs that are doing this,” he said.

He expressed concern over the recurring incidents, describing them as a serious threat to the unity and growth of the continent.

Apostle Momo reiterated his call for a united Africa, noting that both spiritual and economic prosperity can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, love and mutual respect among citizens.
