Adekunle Gold, the Nigerian singer, has addressed rumours that he welcomed twins with Simi, his celebrity wife.
In a recent interview with Greatday Houston, Gold reflected on what it is like being married to a fellow musician and how easy it is to share ideas.
He added that their daughter has also showed signs of being interested in music as well.
“First of all, it is interesting to be married to another fantastic songwriter. You know we bounce off ideas in the home and our daughter is giving signs that she might be one for the music as well,” he said.
The presenter also asked the singer to speak on the rumours that he and Simi had welcomed twins.
In response, the ‘Many People’ hitmaker disclosed that they were just internet rumours and they actually welcomed a baby boy.
“…not even twins, that is the internet by the way. We have a son,” he added.
In April, the celebrity couple announced that they had welcomed their second child. They however did not disclose the baby’s gender or name at the time.
Adekunle Gold tied the knot with Simi in a low-key wedding in January, 2019. They celebrated their first wedding anniversary in 2020, the same year they welcomed their first child Adejare.
