Vitalis Ndubuisi, the ace Nigerian actor, has shared his perspective on ageing, wisdom, and how people’s concerns shift over time.

In a video shared on social media, Ndubuisi explained that priorities differ from one stage of life to another.

According to the actor who is in his late 60s, people in their 20s are not worried about public opinion.

“When we were 20 years old, we never minded what the world talked about us,” he said.

He noted that things begin to change in a person’s 30s and 40s, when people start becoming more concerned about what others think.

“Then we became 30, 40, we worried about what the world was thinking about us,” he said.

Ndubuisi said that by the time people reach age 60, they come to a major realisation.

“But now that we are 60 years and above, we realised the world is not thinking about you at all,” he said.

He also contrasted the mental focus across age groups.

“The youth look forward, the aged look back, but the middle-aged look worried and stressed,” he said.

Ndubuisi added that wisdom often comes with age, just as physical freedom begins to decline.

“By the time you are wise enough to watch your step, you are too old to even move around in the first place,” he said.

He ended by encouraging the younger generation to take action now without waiting for the “perfect” time.

“Whatever you have to do, this is the right time. Do it now,” he added.
