Veekee James, the celebrity fashion designer, and Femi Atere, her husband, have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The entrepreneur shared a video of herself and her husband at an exquisite location while showing off her pregnancy bump.
In the video, the seemingly excited couple also showed off pictures of the baby’s ultrasound as they held each other in various intimate poses.
Veekee also captioned the post: “And two shall become 3. Indeed this is only what God can do.”
Fans and colleagues have since taken to the post’s comment section to congratulate the expecting parents.
Veekee announced her marriage to Femi in October 2023. The couple held lavish traditional and white weddings in Akwa Ibom and Lagos in 2024.
Born Ruth Erikan James, Veekee got into the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom, to pursue a degree in Biochemistry. She, however, left to pursue her passion in fashion design.
She started learning how to make clothes as a child, and in 2019, she was inspired by her mother to start her own fashion brand.
In 2022, she won the ‘Best Designer Award’ at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
She also clinched the Fashion Stylist of the Year award at the 2021 Sugar Awards.
