Kabiru Turaki, national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says the party has shifted its inaugural national working committee (NWC) meeting earlier slated for Tuesday in Abuja.
Speaking to journalists after gaining access to the PDP headquarters at Wadata Plaza, Turaki said the decision was prompted by “actions of those undermining democracy and progress”.
He said the meeting would now hold on Wednesday, November 19.
Turaki, who was joined by Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo; and Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi; commended the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) commissioner of police for providing security that enabled the leadership access the secretariat.
