Phyna, the BBNaija season 7 winner, has accused an hotel in Abuja of endangering her life and threatening to detain her over claims of damaging property worth N3.5 million.

The incident comes just days after she was involved in a heated physical altercation at the hotel over an unresolved financial dispute of about N200,000.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the reality star accused the hotel management of compromising her security by freely admitting “touts” into the premises and directly providing them with her room number.

According to her, the individuals then proceeded to her room on the second floor, where they “banged and broke down the door” and “assaulted” her.

Phyna claimed the hotel management threatened to have her imprisoned until the following Monday because she refused to pay the N3.5 million they demanded for damages.

“Dalchifit hotel in Gwarinpa allowed touts to come in the hotel to fight me and now they are about to lock me up till Monday cuz I refused to pay a damage of N3.5m, please I’m in prison rn. Dalchifit hotel,” she wrote.

“Because I’m Phyna I’m being forced by a hotel that could not secure me in their premises. An hotel that allowed touts through their main gate, through reception up till 2nd floor to bang break down the door, same hotel that told the touts my room number, I’ve never seen that type of thing. Omo this 2025 for just take me leave my sister.”

The reality star, who appeared to have involved the police, accused the hotel management of refusing to provide crucial evidence, specifically the CCTV footage of the incident, to the authorities.

She stated that this was the reason for her refusal to pay the hefty sum, as she wanted proof that the damages were both real and valued at the claimed amount.

“Dalchifit Suites Hotel is locking me up till Monday because I requested for the CCTV footage to show that the amount of what was damaged was really damaged. Till now they’ve refused to show the CCTV footage to the police,” she added.

As of the time of reporting, the hotel has not issued any public statement or response to Phyna’s allegations.
