Tems, the Grammy-winning singer, has unveiled the music video for her song ‘Get It Right’.
The track, which features Asake, the Afrobeats sensation, is the sixth song on ‘Born in The Wild’, Tems’ debut album released earlier this year.
In the video, the songstress effortlessly exudes sultriness as she sings: “Get it right,
don’t be shy, Keep it tight, let it go, babe
come to me”.
Her alluring performance is complemented by Asake’s calm yet magnetic demeanor.
The music video was directed by Laura Marciano, the French filmmaker.
Tems rose to prominence in 2020 through her collaboration with Wizkid on the global hit song ‘Essence’.
She has received numerous awards and accolades for her talent.
In 2023, Tems earned her first Grammy for her contribution to ‘Wait For U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.
The songstress also leads as the most-nominated Nigerian artiste at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with three nods for her debut album ‘Born in the Wild’ and her hit single ‘Love Me Jeje’.
Asake, on the other hand, has been ranked as the most-streamed Nigerian artiste on Spotify for 2024, maintaining the top spot he held the previous year.
His collaboration with Wizkid on the song ‘MMS’ has also earned him a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards,
