Innocent Idibia, the Nigerian singer popularly known as 2Baba, has addressed the ongoing marital crisis with his wife Natasha Osawaru.
A plea with the stark message “help me” was initially shared on the music icon’s Instagram Story on Wednesday.
The plea was, however, followed by a video wherein the 50-year-old singer called for calm.
He appealed to his followers and the public not to escalate the marital issues because it “is putting Natasha at risk”.
2Baba assured that he and Natasha would resolve their issues while arguing that he didn’t make the post calling for help.
“This is getting out of hand, and it is a dangerous situation right now,” he said.
“I know what fans can do, I know what people can do, I am perfectly okay. This is putting Natasha at risk; it is not fair to anybody.
“Please, I need everybody to calm down, ceasefire. We are going to resolve all these issues. People dey get issue for house no be today, but this is getting out of hand.
“Friends, family, everybody, please, ceasefire. I beg you. I am perfectly fine. I did not make that post. Pleas,e I am okay.”
