Spyro, the Nigerian singer, has announced his engagement to Janet Atom, his partner.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the ‘Only Fine Girl’ hitmaker shared photos from the proposal, flaunting his partner and the sparkling engagement ring.
Spryo disclosed that he met Janet, whom he described as “the answer to my prayers”, in March 2024 at a club in Lagos.
He expressed his excitement about the engagement, adding that he looks forward to spending the rest of his life with her.
“On the 30th of March 2024, my world paused as i found love in an unexpected place at exactly 2:48am met the answer to my prayers @_callme_njure in a Lagos Club while at work and from then till now I have lived every single day a very happy man,” he wrote.
“Thank you for saying YES my sweet J I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Janet is a make-up artist who owns Beatzby_Nj.
Born Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, Spyro rose to prominence after releasing the hit song ‘Who Is Your Guy’ in November 2022.
He has also put out tracks like ‘No Gree For Anybody’, ‘Billing’, ‘For You’, and ‘Funke’.
The singer has also collaborated with known artistes, including Tiwa Savage and Simi.
In 2024, the singer revealed that he embraced celibacy because he “feels troubled” every time he fornicates.
