A woman who identified herself as the sister of the lawyer representing Sophia Momodu in her custody dispute with Davido over their daughter Imade, has called out the singer.

In a viral video, the lady claiming to be sister to lawyer Ebelechukwu Egeonu Enedah, accused Davido of orchestrating a campaign of harassment against her sibling.

The controversy erupted following a heated court hearing last week, after which Davido announced on social media that he was withdrawing his bid for custody.

Davido alleged that Enedah, a partner at Punuka Attorneys & Solicitor, had invoked the memory of his late son Ifeanyi, who passed away in October 2022 — a moment he described as “low blow”.

The singer further shared the lawyer’s name and social media handle publicly, though he mistakenly tagged gospel artiste Tosin Bee, who was subsequently forced to clarify he had no connection to Enadah.

The exposure triggered online attention toward Enedah, prompting her legal firm to condemn the alleged online harassment directed at her.

In the footage circulating across social media platforms, the woman identifying herself as the lawyer’s sister directly addressed the singer, accusing him of weaponising his massive following against her sibling for simply performing her professional duties.

The woman rejected the singer’s characterisation of what transpired in court, arguing that the only question posed to him was a routine legal inquiry about his fitness as a parent.

“Davido, I am calling you out. You have shared my sisters information online and you are telling all your fans, followers, the stupid ones to cyber bully my sister because she is a lawyer that defended your baby mama in court,” she said.

“Yes, you might have millions of followers and you think you can use them, your power, your money to tarnish the image of my sister, to stalk her, to bully her online and offline. Sharing her phone number and all your fans are calling her. I can see that you are trying to show us that you have power.

“You are an American and I am also an American. You abused my sister in court just because she asked you a simple question. Prove to the court that you are a fit father, that is the only question you have to answer. But instead of you to answer, you have twisted it, abused her and assaulted her in court and you think you can get away with it?”

Drawing attention to their shared status as American citizens, the woman issued a stern warning. She demanded that Davido immediately remove all posts containing her sister’s personal information and publicly instruct his fans to cease harassment, citing “death threats and relentless phone calls”.

“You can face my sister in Nigeria but be ready to face me in America. The music industry are waiting to hear what you have to do. You need to stop harassing my sister, remove her number from your Twitter and all the places you have posted her information and tell your fans to desist immediately from insulting my sister and calling her number, sending her death threats. You need to stop Davido,” she added.
