Security operatives have surrounded the headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of scheduled factional national executive committee (NEC) and board of trustees (BoT) meetings.
The Nyesom Wike-backed and Kabiru Turaki factions slated NEC and BoT meetings at the Wadata Plaza PDP headquarters for Tuesday, November 18.
On November 15-16, the PDP held a convention in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, which birthed the Turaki-led national working committee (NWC).
However, the Wike faction, which was expelled at the Ibadan event, quickly dismissed the convention as a charade.
