Paul Okoye, the Nigerian singer popularly known as Rudeboy, has dismissed claims that he got the X user who accused him of sexual assault sentenced to years in prison.
In September 2025, the singer threatened legal action against the user identified as Chubbiedivan after she alleged that during Okoye’s marriage to Anita Isama, he raped or coerced their domestic worker.
She also claimed that when the incident came to light, Okoye allegedly sent his then-wife and her sister out of the house.
The matter resurfaced on Thursday after several X users claimed that Chubbiedivan had been sentenced to prison.
“JUST IN: ChubbieDivah, the woman who falsely accused Rudeboy of rape, has been sentenced to 7 years in prison this morning. This should serve as a lesson to all false accusers out there,” a user wrote.

In a post on X, Okoye shared a screenshot of a purported Instagram post bearing his username and the woman’s photo, with a caption suggesting she had been sentenced to six years in prison.
“If you price you must pay. The next time you will see the sunlight is in 2032,” the caption read.
However, Okoye dismissed the screenshot and the claim of her imprisonment, describing it as “fake, very fake news”.
It remains to be seen whether the singer eventually pursued legal action against the woman as he had earlier threatened.
