Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-elect, has assured Nigerians of his commitment to creating a new and improved Nigeria under his incoming administration. In a tweet from his verified account, the former Lagos State governor expressed his gratitude to Nigerians for the warm welcome he received upon his return to Abuja from France.
Tinubu wrote, “I am thrilled to be back home and deeply grateful for the warm welcome I received on my return to Abuja today. Thank you all for your affection and support. Our pledge to deliver a nation of renewed hope for all Nigerians is still in progress.”
Tinubu had traveled to France on March 22 for a period of rest and to plan his transition program. He returned to Nigeria on Monday evening.
