Olayinka Solomon, the Nollywood actress popularly known as Ogo Mushin, has shared her personal experience with postpartum.

Postpartum refers to the emotional and physical changes new mothers undergo after childbirth.

Olayinka, who welcomed a baby boy with her husband Olasunkanmi Mabinuori in January, asked her female followers on Instagram to share how their lives changed after giving birth.

The actress also revealed that she struggled with anger issues and intermittent memory loss during her postpartum period.

“Postpartum mom. What changed after childbirth? Mine I get angry over little things and memory loss, we can gist now, next minute I don’t remember,” she wrote.

“What changed???? I don’t get full…I can eat now, next minute am hungry.”

Olayinka, a renowned figure in the Yoruba film industry, tied the knot with Olasunkanmi in 2021.

She was previously married to fellow actor Ibrahim Chatta, with whom she has a son named Malik.

The union crashed several years ago amid rumours of domestic violence, which both parties have addressed in various interviews.

Olayinka is recognised for her impressive performances in films such as ‘Ogo Mushin’ and ‘Omoge Lekki’.
