The North Central Coordinator of the Arewa Youth Assembly for Good Leadership, Dr Sani Ahmad, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as bold and decisive efforts to tackle Nigeria’s pressing challenges.

Ahmad, in a goodwill message to mark the nation’s Independence Anniversary on Wednesday, praised Tinubu’s administration for its focus on improving security, fighting inflation, boosting agriculture and industry, and creating opportunities for young people.

“These are not easy battles, but your resolve has renewed hope that Nigeria is on the path to stability, growth, and greater unity,” he said.

The youth leader noted that the government’s actions since taking office had shown a commitment to addressing long-standing problems, including insecurity, unemployment, corruption, inadequate infrastructure and social vices.

He appealed to the President to sustain the momentum, especially in the fight against insecurity in the northern region, despite criticism from those who “do not understand the burden of leadership.”

Ahmad added, “I still plead with my two knees down to continue until we are all safe, not only in the North but across the entire country, to ensure lasting peace and prosperity.”

While congratulating Nigerians on the country’s Independence, Ahmad said the administration’s policies had demonstrated a clear direction towards economic recovery and national cohesion.

“May God grant you the wisdom, strength, and health to continue leading our dear country towards peace, prosperity, and improved well-being for all citizens,” he added.

He also urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive as the government implements reforms aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
