Mr Macaroni, the Nigerian skit maker, has revealed that he has been struggling with a “heavy burden” for three years.
In a post via X the skit maker said the struggle, which was not disclosed, “tested me beyond limits and weighed me down” but never broke his determination.
He said he finally feels a sense of peace and freedom after making difficult decisions, emphasising that challenges are only temporary.
He further urged people facing difficulties to stay strong while assuring tha victory will come in the end.
“I feel better than I have felt in over 3 years! I have peace of mind. I feel free. I have been carrying a heavy burden for about 3 years now,” he wrote.
“It tested me beyond limits and weighed me down but I never stopped fighting.
“I am writing this letter of love to any one of you going through a hard time right now.
“You might have to make some tough decisions like I have done but please understand that your troubles will not last forever.
“The road will be rough but you will be victorious at the end. Don’t stop fighting!”
Born Adebowale Adedayo, Mr Macaroni is renowned for his anti-police brutality activism and social justice advocacy.
He has also gained widespread recognition for his work in comedy.
