The lifeless body of an individual who leaped into the lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge in Lagos on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, has been successfully retrieved.
Adeseye Margaret Eho, the Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, has confirmed the incident. She stated that the search and rescue operations commenced promptly upon receiving the alert at approximately 2:53 pm on Tuesday, August 2023. The efforts resulted in the recovery of the body today, August 10, 2023, at 9:15 am, near the LASEMA end of the lagoon bank.
