A 31 year old high school teacher known as Jeffrey Wilson has been jailed for 12 months after taking up-skirting photos of high school students and staff with a camera pen.

He used a pen that had a concealed camera as he took secret photos up the skirts of students and female Staff.

Within the period when these crimes were being committed, Wilson was working at two schools, Thomas Clarkson Academy in Wisbech and at Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge.

Police detectives carried out a warrant at Wilson’s home in Cambridgeshire on Friday 11th February, 2022 after an IP address was linked to viewing thousands of indecent images of children online.

When the devices were examined, 45 up-skirting images taken during a six month period from April to September 2019 were found, during the time Wilson worked at both schools.

Alongside the discovery of when the images were taken, officers also found the pen with a concealed camera, they also found a hidden camera inside a clock that Wilson used to film women who had undressed in his home.

Nearly 53,000 indecent images or videos of children were found on the electronic devices seized from Wilson’s home

Wilson appeared at Peterborough crown court on Tuesday 30th August, 2022 and admitted to three counts of making indecent images of children, three of voyeurism and two of recording an image under clothing to observe another without consent.

Alongside his one-year jail sentence, he was also made subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.

DC Keith Evans said “this was a truly disturbing case. wilson was in a position of trust, which he abused by violating both colleagues and students for his own gratification.

His behaviour towards the women he secretly filmed at his home was also disgusting. I’m pleased his offences have been discovered and he has now faced justice. These images were taken without the knowledge of victims and it is impossible to identify them. Wilson’s actions will inevitably cause a great deal of distress to pupils, their parents and staff at the school.”
