The Global Foundation for Hope, Care and Development (GFHCD) has extended support to children in need of urgent medical assistance through its outreach programme tagged Save a Child’s Life.
The outreach, held recently at the Asokoro General Hospital Paediatric Ward, brought relief to several underprivileged children whose families struggled to settle medical bills.
Among the beneficiaries was Miss Hadijat Mohammed, a young patient in need of major surgery, whose treatment was fully funded by the foundation.
Beyond financial aid, GFHCD also donated essential medical equipment and supplies, including a water heater, electrical wall fans, automated vein finder, medical dissecting sets, provisions, and toiletries to the hospital’s paediatric unit.
Speaking on the initiative, the foundation’s management said the outreach aligns with its mission to support vulnerable children and strengthen healthcare delivery for the less privileged.
Earlier, on September 10, 2025, the organisation had visited the AMAC/Lugbe Aleyita Primary Health Centre, where it also paid medical bills for patients and carried out maintenance work on the facility’s power plant, restoring reliable electricity supply to the centre.
The management teams of both hospitals expressed profound appreciation to GFHCD Chairman, Mr. Ademola Awobokun, Head of Welfare, Mr. Nnamdi Ezeomah, and the entire team for their generosity and consistent humanitarian efforts.
They noted that the gesture has not only eased the burden on struggling families but also improved the quality of care in the health facilities.
