Dede and Joanna, the BBNaija season 10 housemates, have been fake-evicted from the reality show in a new twist.
On Monday, the red telephone – one of the new twists introduced this season – rang, and as the rule states, the nearest housemate to it should pick it.
Dede picked up the phone, and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host, told her to select another housemate for a surprise. She chose Joanna.
Ebuka then told the two housemates to leave the house as they had been automatically evicted from the show.

However, the pair were put in a secret room where they would spend the entire week.

The BBNaija season 10 edition kicked off with a two-day opening ceremony. The female housemates were unveiled first on July 26.
The male contestants were ushered into the show on July 27, making it a total of 29 housemates.
Danboskid and Ibifubara became the first set of season 10 housemates to be evicted from the show on August 10.
Sabrina left the reality show on August 11 due to medical reasons, while Otega and Kayikunmi were evicted on August 17.
Victory and Gigi Jasmine were evicted on August 24. Ivatar, Doris and Big Soso were also sent home on Sunday.
This year’s winner will take home a staggering N150 million — the highest grand prize in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
