The legal team of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has argued that Cassie Ventura, the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, was a willing participant in the drug-fueled “freak off” parties she described in court.
Ventura, the prosecution’s star witness, took the stand earlier this week in the high-profile sex trafficking trial, delivering disturbing testimony about her past relationship with the rapper.
She testified that Diddy coerced her into participating in drug-fueled “freak off” sex parties that left her with recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs), mouth sores.
However, during cross-examination, Diddy’s defense team challenged her account, presenting a series of sexually explicit text messages allegedly exchanged between the two while they were in a relationship.
The messages, shown to jurors, appeared to contradict Ventura’s claims of coercion.
One of the messages displayed in court read: “I’m always ready to freak off, it can be whenever”. The text was said to have been sent to Diddy through a BlackBerry phone on August 5, 2009.
Another explicit text allegedly sent by Ventura stated: “Can’t wait for you to d*** tease my p**** raw”.
Anna Estevao, Diddy’s defense attorney, pressed Ventura on the nature of their relationship, asking whether the rapper had taught her how to perform oral sex, a claim Ventura confirmed.
Estevao then directed her to read another message she had reportedly sent to Diddy in 2007: “I feel protected, you are sweet”.
