The Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 10 housemates traded blames among themselves after losing their first wager task, each trying to fault the other for what went wrong.
Earlier in the week, Big Brother had instructed the housemates to stage an unmasking show themed around a ball party, featuring dramatic costumes and performances.
But during Friday’s presentation, led by Head of House Jason Jae, the show failed to meet expectations, prompting Big Brother to end it midway.
Big Brother described the presentation as “unremarkable” while declaring they lost their wager.
“Such an unremarkable performance. Housemates, your presentation lacks imagination and substance,” he said.
“Big Brother’s verdict will be as disappointing as your performance. You have lost your wager.”
With the loss, the housemates will now face limited feeding provisions and reduced access to basic supplies throughout the coming week.
After the failed presentation, the housemates began assessing their performance. While many blamed Jason for misinterpreting the brief and showing poor leadership, some defended him by pointing to the group’s lack of coordination and overall contribution.
The BBNaija Season 10 kicked off on July 28 with a two-day opening ceremony.
This year’s winner will take home a staggering N150 million — the highest grand prize in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
Big Brother had earlier put 28 housemates – except the head of house – up for a fake eviction.
