The National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja hosted a press conference on Thursday, with the party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, and National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, addressing journalists.
The briefing followed statements by former Senate President, David Mark, regarding the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) refusal to recognise a factional caretaker leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in line with a recent Court of Appeal ruling.
Party officials used the session to respond to the allegations raised by Senator Mark and clarify the APC’s position on the matter, stressing adherence to the rule of law and judicial directives in electoral disputes.
