Zion Flames Ministries has opened its first physical worship centre in Lagos, ending five years of operating exclusively as an online prayer platform.
The Senior Pastor of the ministry, Apostle Momo Promise, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, following the unveiling of the church building over the weekend.
Promise said the decision to establish a physical church was in response to persistent requests from followers across the world who desired a place for in-person fellowship.
“For five years, we have been praying online with people globally. Many kept asking where they could worship with us physically, so we knew it was time,” he said.
He explained that the building, located in the Ojo area of Lagos, was acquired in May but underwent extensive renovation, which delayed its completion for about six months.
According to the cleric, managing live online services alongside supervising the renovation posed significant challenges, but divine provision ensured the project’s completion.
“The moment God led us to get the building, He made provisions. Balancing the online ministry with the physical project was the major challenge,” Promise stated.
He said the worship centre, with a seating capacity of about 40 members, was meant as a starting point, adding that the ministry was already considering a larger facility.
Promise also revealed plans to establish Zion Flames branches across the world within the next five to 10 years and to set up an orphanage foundation.
Describing the project as miraculous, he said the instruction to begin the physical ministry came while he was in Uganda in April, adding that the building was provided shortly after his return to Nigeria.
The pastor expressed gratitude to members and supporters of the ministry for their financial, spiritual and moral support, noting that their contributions were key to the realisation of the vision.
