Biodun Okeowo, the Nollywood actress better known as Omoborty, has legally married her partner in the United States.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share pictures from the event, which she referred to as one of the “most beautiful days of my life”.
The film star also disclosed that they had completed all wedding “protocols” while praying that it would be her “last wedding”.
“In the euphoria of my birthday, I am thrilled to share the memories from one of the most beautiful days of my life. The day I legally said ‘yes’ to the man of my heart before God and man,” she wrote.
“All protocols duly and completely observed — traditionally, officially, and legally. Feel free to call me Mrs. Biodun Sofuyi-Olabiyi. My first wedding, and by God’s grace, the last. Amen.”
Fans and colleagues have since taken to the comment section to congratulate the couple.
The movie star announced her engagement in March. The actress is believed to have two children from a previous relationship.
Omoborty delved into acting in the early 2000s but got shot into the limelight for her role in ‘Tolani Osinrin’.
She has been featured in a plethora of Yoruba movies such as: ‘Alapo Aje’, ‘Star Boy’, ‘Ebute’, ‘Okanjua’, and ‘Boseyemi’.
