Omowunmi, the widow of Mohbad, has revealed how music by singer Brymo brought comfort during her “darkest days”.

Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, and was buried the next day.

His controversial death was followed by an exhumation for an autopsy and speculations about the paternity of Liam, his son.

Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, claimed the late singer had expressed concerns that his wife cheated on him with another signee at Marlian Records.

He also called for a DNA test to determine Liam’s biological father.

Mohbad’s wife agreed to the DNA test under specific conditions.

She said the test must be conducted at three hospitals, adding that Mohbad’s family must cover the costs.

In a post via her Instagram story, Wunmi expressed her love for Brymo’s music.

She added that his songs have “healed and pulled me out of my darkest days”.

“Brymo songs have done more than uplift and match my mood; they’ve healed and pulled me out of my darkest days. His music is so soothing, pure bliss,” she said.

Wunmi recently claimed that Aloba is bullying her and Liam on social media because he wants Mohbad’s properties.

“Baba has been working with those people who bullied Liam’s father for many years,” she said.

“He was also seen with the same person who fought with his son 48 hours before his son’s death which led to us calling a nurse.

“Baba is all about getting his son’s property even if it means getting me and Liam out of the way.”
