Seyi Vibez has called out his colleague Adekunle Gold over his newly released deluxe project ‘Fuji Xtra’.
The controversy began after Adekunle Gold dropped his Fuji Xtra deluxe on Friday, particularly on the track ‘Life of the Faaji’.
On the song, Adekunle Gold sings: “They love my fuji, this no be Fuji Moto”.
The line quickly stirred reactions online, with many listeners interpreting it as a subtle dig at Seyi Vibez’s ‘Fuji Moto’ project, released in late 2025.
Hours later, in a post on X, Vibez criticised Gold, describing him as a “wack” singer.
“Adekunle Gold you’re wack. And your swag is wack. Old fool!” he wrote.

Old fool !
In another post, the singer hurled insults at his colleague.
“Adekunle panda Egbon ofo! Egbon ya,” he wrote.
An unofficial rivalry has long simmered between the two music stars.
In 2025, Adekunle Gold released ‘Fuji,’ an album that explored Fuji rhythms blended with Afrobeats and pop influences.
Weeks later, Seyi Vibez unveiled ‘Fuji Moto’, a project that also leaned heavily into Fuji-inspired street-pop sounds.
The similarity in both projects’ themes and titles immediately sparked comparisons among fans.
As of the time of this report, Gold has not responded to Vibez’s criticism.
