Samuel Banks, the Nigerian skit maker, has revealed that some persons damaged his car for refusing to give them money along the Lekki Expressway.
In a post via Instagram, the skit maker better known as Arike Preorder shared a video showing him holding down one of the persons who he claimed nearly smashed his Mercedes-Benz’s windscreen, threatening he would make him a “scapegoat”.
He lamented that this was the third time his car was damaged at the same spot and expressed concern that his passenger could have been hurt.
“Because I didn’t give you money, you stoned my car. I will use you as a scapegoat,” he said.
“This isn’t the first time; my first car was damaged here, as well as the second one, and now the third. There was someone near the back of my car; what if the glass had injured them? You will learn.”
In an accompanying caption, he vowed not to let the incident go unaddressed, saying “enough is enough”.
“Lekki Expressway boys don spoil my first car, spoil my second car, now my third car… just because I no give them money. They even stoned this one,” he wrote.
“Thank God it didn’t touch the glass. This time, I’m not letting anything slide. Enough is enough.”
Born Samuel Bankole, Banks is a Nigerian digital influencer and skit maker from Ogun state.
He is well known on TikTok for his involvement in fashion and the variety of characters he portrays in his skits.
