Stan Nze, the Nigerian actor, has offered a deeply personal glimpse into his marriage to Blessing Obasi.
The lovebirds tied the knot in September 2021.
Speaking during an appearance on The Morayo Show, the Nollywood star showered his wife with heartfelt praise while challenging popular assumptions about love and relationships.
Nze described his union with Obasi as “happy, fulfilled, and settled”. His words also painted a picture of a partnership built on far more than surface-level attraction.
“I have plenty, there is so much to hold on,” he said.
“I’m happy, I’m fulfilled, she makes me laugh so much.
“We can talk about any and everything without any sort of pressure.”
Nze turned his attention to a contradiction he has observed among men who say they are ready to settle down.
He argued that many become lost in the pursuit of an “ideal woman” — often defined by external qualities — without considering what truly sustains a partnership.
“If an ideal woman doesn’t have the ideal content, would you rather take the ideal and not content, or take the ideal content and leave the woman,” he said.
“I’m all looking good… she is beautiful, that’s what is most important to me.”
Nze had earlier revealed that he and Obasi have been together for three and a half years before they married.
