Reality TV star and social media influencer Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed her interest in joining politics.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Tacha said her growing concern about Nigeria’s current situation has inspired her to take a more active role in decision-making.
The BBNaija star explained that politics affects every citizen, stressing that a single government policy can change people’s lives for better or worse.
According to her, instead of constantly complaining about political issues, it is wiser to participate and contribute to positive change.
She said, “I feel like if you keep complaining about something, it only makes sense to get involved and maybe make certain decisions that’ll make things easier for people.
“People always say after God, it’s politics and truly, one policy from the government can make or break you. At the end of the day, it makes sense to get involved”
Tacha added that while she may not yet be in a position to make major decisions, she will continue using her platform to advocate for good governance and accountability.
Tacha’s Recent Guinness World Record Attempt
Recently, Tacha attempted to break a Guinness World Record for the most makeovers by a single artist in 24 hours. On October 11, she completed 150 makeovers within the timeframe.
Her record attempt is currently awaiting official confirmation from Guinness World Records (GWR).
