Jainy Amarachi Offei, the fast-rising Nigerian-Ghanaian singer, has signed a new deal with Tripoint Talent Management.
In a statement on Monday, the management team announced its commitment to launching the Ghana-based singer into the competitive music scene.
Jainy is also set to release her debut single on May 25, with a media and performance rollout in Lagos and Accra.
The 20-year-old artiste also spoke about her management deal, saying, “this is not just about music”.
“It is about taking back control of my voice, my story, and my future,” she added.
“I am grateful to be working with a team that sees me not as a pawn, but as an artist with a vision.”
Jainy is a student of Methodist University in Ghana and the eldest of four girls.
She first gained public attention during a reality TV appearance where a freestyle performance catapulted her into viral status.
Jainy, however, faced a harsh reality behind the scenes. During a live taping of the show, a male industry figure suggested that she would have to “play her way to the top” if she wanted to “blow” in the music business.
He reportedly promised her a record deal, an apartment, a passport, a UK tour, and a debut performance in Abuja, all of which never materialised.
“Everyone wants to take advantage of me wherever I find myself,” Jainy said.
With her Afro R&B sound and lyrics drawing from personal truth, resilience, and feminine strength, Jainy’s new team is dedicated to her growth.
