
Gunmen who are believed to be terrorists abducted 23 women in the Damaga District of the Maradun Local Government Area in Zamfara State on Wednesday, 26th July.
On Thursday night, DAILY POST conducted an interview with a resident of the area named Malam Ahmed Mohammed, who revealed the information.
As per his account, the incident took place at approximately 12:pm on Wednesday while the women were searching for firewood in the bush.
The bandits also attacked Talata Madara town, which is the headquarters of Talata Madara Local Government Area in Zamfara State. There, they kidnapped ten Triacta road construction company staff members.
However, they were unable to obtain a response from the State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Yazeed Abubakar, as all of his telephone lines were out of service.
